Opps!

Hello again!
Well, I made a mistake! Not a surprise with a new condition called Mommy of a 2 year old Syndrome! I THOUGHT that QuicKutz was doing their consumer release on the 23rd BUT I was wrong - I think that was their "hoped" for date but it didn't actually happen. Sooo - as soon as I get the go ahead I'll post my QK projects pictures on my Blog, but I've decided to go ahead and do a few projects this weekend so you all don't think I'm getting lazy! Stay tuned!

Hello, world!

I am so happy to say that Spring is here! I love love LOVE this weather - it's so awesome! Sunny and high 70's - low 80's, what's not to love? I am happy to report that I received my "hush hush" QK design team dies last Friday and spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday playing with them! All day - every day! And once I started dreaming about card making, dies, paper color combos I decided that I was going to take a few days off from paper and focus on my no. 1 love, my son Adam! We went to Disneyland on Tuesday with Grandma Bubbles and have gone to the park every day since Tuesday (although I did sew a little tote that needs a handle during one nap time...) and I'm feeling creatively replenished and can't wait to start playing scissors, paper, dies again.
On Tuesday QK will release the latest release to consumers which means that I'll post pictures of my projects here as well as on their website! I have to admit that I'm super happy with all but one of them and hope that you'll enjoy them as well.
I will be at Pages from the Heart in Monrovia tomorrow at 1:00 pm doing a FREE Letterpress demo so please come and check it out - it's a cool tool that you can use with your Epic machine - it does amazing cards, invitations and I'm going to show how I used it on a page!
Well, I hear my little cub stirring from his nap so I gotta go cuddle - its a hard job but someone has to do it!
Happy weekend and I hope you get to drink in the sunshine!

Birthday Fun Cards

Hello Everyone!
I'm waiting to see the new Alice in Wonderland movie (maybe this weekend?), but I'm totally in the mood for a little bit of Very Merry Unbirthdays, so I decided to create these cute Birthday Cards.

The Scooter Card is cut from the Silhouette SD- which cut great with a new blade today! Super fun and easy!

The Dinosaur Card is using a QK Exclusive die and the B-DAY card's flower is from scraps of paper! Makes you not want to throw anything out, huh?

I'll be teaching these cards at Collective Journey's on April 13th - there will be 3 other cards and a bonus project (I'm thinking something 3-D... and almost edible...)
Have a Very Merry Unbirthday Everyone!

Day Dreaming Kinda Day

Well, I've had all morning to work on my class kits and create new samples - my lovely Mother-in-Law took my son for a little Grammy/Adam time and I've spent the majority of the morning looking outside my window and letting my mind wander...
It's a gloomy, cloudy day here and my Srapfice looks out onto a park like area so I'm sure you can see why my mind keeps running in all directions...

While I have no new craft projects to share, I decided to give you guys a few blogs that I am in LOVE with right now!
Check out -
http://wipkits.blogspot.com/
they have great ideas and you can even purchase their kits from their online store - they also have a list of blogs that are fun to look at!
and

This website has fun projects, mostly sewing but some cooking. I love to combine sewing and paper crafting so this website gives me lots of food for thought!

Better go try and get something accomplished!
Happy Monday, Everyone!

Hello everyone!
Just want to do a quick post showing you the QK Club make-n-take that I just finished for Pages From the Heart in Monrovia! I did use a super cute little Duckling from Cottage Cuts but everything else is all QuicKutz! Hope you enjoy - it's hard not to absolutely love spring with such fun dies and papers!

Happy cutting, everyone!
